The Marmolada Ski Area is the most beautiful ski area in the Dolomites. On a clear day, the terrace you can reach using the cableway that leaves from Malga Ciapela, offers views of the Austrian Alps, as well as right out over the Dolomites on all sides. From the 3265 m altitude, you can ski down over 1800 m along the 12 km “La Bellunese” run, one of the finest slopes in the Alps.

Marmolada is an iconic skiing destination in the Dolomites, offering 150 km of maintained ski runs in the winter season, with a variety of slopes suitable for both experienced skiers and beginners. Skiing in Marmolada is also part of the winter ski resort-Sellaronda, which is a circuit around the Dolomites with four linked ski areas. This circuit is accessible in one day with the use of the Sellaronda ski lifts. Freeride ski and snowboarding activities are also particularly popular in the area, with many dedicated routes and off-piste experiences.

It offers gorgeous, panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, including the unmistakeable profile of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. It is an ideal spot to explore the great outdoors, with plentiful trails leading to alpine meadows and mountain peaks. Several challenging mountaineering routes are available for experienced hikers, as well as various ski touring venues.
